DISPOSITION - SAN FRANCISCO arrived in Bremerton, WA June 27, 2006 to await permanent repairs to her bow which was smashed when she hit an undersea mountain near Guam in January, 2005. USS HONOLULU (SSN-718) will provide the replacement bow. The work is scheduled to begin in November, 2006 and be completed in September, 2008. | |
