RUSSIAN SUBMARINES -
Vancouver BC Submarine - Foxtrot U-521 - just over 10 miles from downtown Vancouver, in the little town of New Westminster Quay is an exciting exhibit, a decomissioned Russian submarine. Built in the late sixties, the U-521 was comissioned in 1974 and retired from service in 1993. At over 300 feet in length, this is one impressive sight.
Long Beach, CA Russian Submarine - Foxtrot 641 "Scorpion" - located next to the Queen Mary is the Russian Submarine Exhibit. Passing through these gates visitors enter the front of the sub and work their way to the tail. Many visitors to Long Beach, California visit this site.
Russian Sub Museum - the new home of Juliett 484, now open to the public in Providence, RI. A shining star in the City of Providence.
U-505 - the U-505 is a German World War II Type-IXc Unterseeboot (submarine) that was captured in battle on the high seas by boarding parties from the USS Guadalcanal task group 23 on 4 June 1944. It is now open for touring at Museum of Science and Industry - 57th Street and Lake Shore Drive - Chicago, IL 60637-2093 USA - (773) 684-1414.
Argonaute Submarine - this is the Argonaute, a French attack submarine from the 1950s that has been decommissioned and placed on display at the Parc de la Villette in Paris.
