1943 - PCU BONEFISH (SS-223) launched at the Electric Boat Company, Groton, CT; sponsored by Mrs. F. A. Daubin, wife of Rear Admiral Daubin.
1958 - PCU GRAYBACK (SSG-574) commissioned USS GRAYBACK (SSG-574) at Mare Island Naval Shipyard, Vallejo, CA; Lt. Comdr. Hugh G. Nott commanding.
1979 - USS ALEXANDER HAMILTON (SSBN-617) became tangled in the nets of a Scottish fishing trawler in the sound of Jura off the west coast of Scotland. ALEXANDER HAMILTON towed the trawler backward for about 45 minutes until the nets were cut. No injuries or serious damage resulted.
1979 - USS PARGO (SSN-650) grounded while entering New London, CT harbor.
